Dr. Maria Pouncey, EdD: Dr. Maria Pouncey has lended her support and expertise since the school conception and has developed early learning curriculum that is also supportive of Migrant and English Language Learners (ELL). For the last 10 years Dr. Pouncey has been the Administrator of Curriculum and Instruction for the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC) Instructional Services, including Migrant and English Language Learners (ELL) federal programs and the statewide Florida Migrant Parent Advisory Council. She provides coordination and delivery of migrant services to 18 PAEC member or participating school districts, and management of budgets exceeding one million dollars in federal and state funds. She actively seeks funding opportunities and procures funding through projects, grants, and contracts with local, state, and federal services that provide additional services and resources aligned with the program group and to enhance the quality of services from PAEC.
